Are we being given the best candidate?
This is normally one of the first questions a client has when starting to look at using a recruitment agency to fill a role, and here at Influx Recruitment we receive this question hundreds and hundreds of times a year. Likely within the first couple of minutes of any conversation.
Quality (along with many other factors) matters, and can certainly dictate what recruitment agency you are going to use in the long run.
You aren’t going to be happy using an agency again after receiving substandard candidates from them and this is a fear that Influx Recruitment wants to eradicate from clients when they use us.
Our aim is to get it right first time every time, so we make sure that candidates realise the importance of working for Influx Recruitment and are ambassadors to the Influx brand when they are working for us.
Because of this we have built up some brilliant relationships with not just clients, but candidates too as we make sure that once we find good, hardworking candidates we keep in touch with them and when jobs come to a finish we quickly get them into other work through us.
We do this, not only to help the candidates as a reward for being good workers, but also to help promote the fact that we try and provide the best workers available.
We Want You To Feel At Ease When Working With Us
We want you to feel completely at ease when subcontracting work out to us and we aim to do the job as you would do it yourself.
Evidence Of Candidates Good Work
We ask previous clients (and current ones) for photographs and evidence of work people did so that we know who has been good and we can send this on to new clients who want to see work that the guys have done before.
We have a large portal of information for each worker and any certificates and work they have done is attached along with their right to work amongst other relevant documents.
Receiving Feedback From Clients On The Candidates Work
Any candidates that we receive good feedback for we take great delight in letting them know about the feedback they have received and try our best to keep them happy and in continuous work.
It’s not always the case however that we can rely on these previous workers and therefore we have to go out and look for a new candidate for the position.
What Happens If Evidence & Feedback Is Not Enough For You?
This is where we become really stringent and make sure that a client is the correct fit for us, before we will consider putting him forward to a client.
When we get an applicant we review their CV, if they have put time and effort to keep it all updated then they respect themselves so we are hopefully onto a winner, we then contact them and ask for two recent references, we try and get their last two employers, which need to be good.
We ask the referees to rate them between 1-5 on things such as quality of work, re-employability and timekeeping.
This helps us get an understanding of how good they are to put forward (they are becoming Influx Ambassadors), we also ask them exactly what kind of work they did.
We Make Sure Nobody Is Left Disappointed
By taking these measures we are making sure that nobody is going to be left disappointed between the candidate and being unsure of what they are facing, the client and receiving a worker who isn’t up to scratch and us in our name and brand being tarnished due to problematic workers.
We Give Our Candidates Professional Development
Once becoming one of our candidates it opens up a whole new future through professional development as we have our training company which coincides with Influx Training where we can get candidates trained up on courses relevant to their employment.
This is just one of the many benefits we can provide candidates with if they work with us.
By helping the candidates with development as such we hope that the Influx brand that they are representing is only enhanced once we use them and place them with clients.
